Collection: FenX

FenX is one of the most singular voices in painting born from French graffiti — a precise, sensual pop art nourished by manga, pin-ups and advertising imagery. Galerie Bonnet-Abelin represents him in Lyon and is preparing an event with him: his first Lyon solo show, in November 2026 at the gallery.

November 2026: a Lyon first

After JonOne's solo show at the start of the season, the gallery will devote to FenX, in November 2026, his first solo exhibition in Lyon. A project of a particular nature: a deeply personal exhibition, built around the encounter between artist and gallerist — one of those shows where painting stops being a catalogue and becomes a story. From graffiti to pop art

Trained in the Paris-region graffiti scene of the 1990s, FenX made the most radical metamorphosis of his generation: abandoning lettering for the figure, he built an instantly identifiable language — impeccable flat colours, comic-book framing, heroines on the edge of manga and vintage advertising, where the street's legacy survives in energy and insolence rather than in form. A polished painting, executed in acrylic on linen, in dialogue with historical pop art while speaking the language of contemporary visual culture. Exhibited in France and internationally, FenX occupies a place of his own between street art and pop art, claiming both legacies without being confined to either.

FenX at Galerie Bonnet-Abelin

The gallery presents a group of nine canvases spanning nearly ten years of creation (2013-2022), from large 195 × 130 cm formats to cabinet pieces — a panorama of his universe while awaiting the November solo show.

Acquiring a work by FenX

The works can be viewed at the gallery, 36 avenue Foch, Lyon 6ᵉ, by appointment. Each work comes with a certificate of authenticity.
